I am so grateful I found Betsy! I had such peace of mind going into labor knowing that she would be there with me to support and coach me as my doula. She helped me achieve the kind of birth I wanted and her knowledge and presence made labor and delivery go much smoother.

Betsy was a lifesaver during my first time labor and delivery experience! Due to high blood pressure concerns, my doctor decided I should be induced at 39 weeks. When we were admitted to the hospital, Betsy was there right away with her doula bag full of goodies. She helped set a calming mood in the labor room with string lights and music and helped my husband Josh and I stay calm and distracted. My induction process ended up lasting over 48 hours and Betsy was there for us through it all! Once my contractions got more painful and intense she gave me options for movements to do that could help with the pain. She rubbed my back and showed Josh things he could do to help me. It was like she knew what we needed before we even knew! She helped call nurses when we needed water or anything at all. She really made us feel more at ease in a situation we had never experienced. When the time finally came for me to push, Betsy was right there beside me with my husband, changing out cool washcloths for my forehead, speaking affirmations to me and taking pictures of everything! Nothing phased her and that was exactly what we needed. She was genuinely so excited to see our baby girl be born! It is so obvious that Betsy loves the miracle of childbirth and truly cares about her clients. She was our best friend in the hospital! After our daughter was born, Betsy has kept up with checking in on us and our baby. She even brought us homemade lactation cookies. I cannot recommend hiring a doula for your labor and delivery enough and not only that, but HIRE BETSY! You will not regret it.

As the husband going into a pregnancy I really had no idea what to expect. I do not think I knew that the word Doula even existed. Because of Covid my wife and I were not allowed to have any of our family with us during the labor and stay at the hospital. Being first time parents we were not familiar with what to expect. Betsy was there for us for many hours, she made sure each room was set up to be the most comfortable. [The computer monitor went black in one room so we had to move next door.] She made herself familiar with my wife and myself before the delivery so she was able to comfort both us, and help us get through a crazy delivery. Betsy was always right there when we needed her, and had just what we needed every time!

I want to thank Betsy for the amazing job she did as a doula for my daughter and her husband! Due to hospital restrictions and the distance we live from them we were not able to be there for the birth of our first grandchild. It was so comforting knowing she was with them for what ended up being a very long labor and delivery. She sent regular updates and pictures and was so reassuring. I am grateful she has followed the call God has on her life to assist in bringing new life into this world. From one mom and new Grammy, Betsy is wonderful!
